Welcome
- Thank you for registering (or considering registering) your youth team to play
Indoor Soccer at Charlotte Sports Center.
Game Days –
Youth games are played on Friday or Saturday nights. There will be
some Youth games during the Christmas break during the weekday while kids are
out of school. No games will be played on Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve,
Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, or New Year's Day.
Game
Times – Game times will vary to be
fair to all Youth teams. High School games will be played on weekday
afternoons and Youth games will play on Friday or Saturday evenings.
Bye Requests – We will try and honor each team’s requests for
byes, provided they are listed on the original registration form. Because
of the number of teams playing during the winter season, it is very difficult to
change any schedules after they are posted. If you are going to have to
forfeit a game, please call us so we can try and get a replacement team for your
opponent to play for that particular game.
Schedules - Schedules will be
completed at least 1 week before your first game and posted on our new online
League Management Program called
.
All players will need to have a current waiver on file and be assigned to your
Team Roster to be able to access their team schedule and standings.

Waivers & Rosters online.
Team Fee / Deposit – A $200 deposit is
due with your registration form and the Team’s Balance is due by your first
game.

your TEAM will be added to the league. Once your Registration Form has
been received and processed, you will receive an Email or Phone Call with
instructions on how to log into our online
system to process your TEAM Payment. Team Balances are due by your first
game, and can also be
paid online at
.
Click for Online
Registration.
Age Groups – The
age groups are U12 to High School for both Boys and Girls. The age group you
played in the fall is the same age group you will play during the winter.
For instance, if before August 1st you were 12 years old and you
played U-13 this will be the same for indoor. Youth leagues will play 8 v 8,
while High School leagues will play 7 v 7.
Team Rosters & Waivers - All Players
will have to fill out
Liability Waivers for the upcoming season. Your Team’s
Roster is due at the end of your first game or before. Players can be added to
your rosters up until your fifth game of the season. After the fifth game,
the rosters are frozen for the playoffs. You can add players after the
fifth week, but they are not eligible to play in the playoffs. Players can
be added to your roster by having them fill out a
Waiver Online
or at Charlotte Sports Center. Maximum roster size is 15 players.
Inclement
Weather Policy - We will make a decision by 3pm on weekdays, and
7am on weekends regarding canceling activities due to inclement weather. Every
effort will be made to reschedule activities postponed due to weather at a later
date and time, but this may not always be possible.

WHAT
IS FUTSAL?
Fustal is a form of Soccer that is played 5 v 5 on a hardwood or rubber
surface. Each team plays with 5 players on the surface at a time (4 field
players + 1 goalie) and the rules of the game are very similar to soccer.
The main differences between Futsal and Soccer are:
Surface: Futsal is played on a Hardwood or Rubber playing
surface
Ball: Smaller, slightly
weighted ball similar in size to a Size 3 soccer ball
Goals: Smaller goals that are approximately 10
feet wide by 6 feet tall
Rules: Similar to soccer except no contact
allowed, no slide tackling and no shoulder tackling allowed
A regulation size Futsal court is approximately the same size as a basketball court.
All Futsal games at Charlotte Sports Center are played on our
hardwood basketball surface. Futsal players play in their flats or tennis
shoes and the game is extremely fast-paced because of the smaller surface.
The game of Futsal forces all players to work hard on foot skills, passing and
shooting. All players spend significant time on the ball and substitutions
are very frequent because of the fast-paced nature of the game. Click
