Welcome
- Thank you for registering (or considering registering) for Youth Inline Hockey at Charlotte Sports Center.
Skills Day
– Skills Days are held at the start of each season. Skills Day sessions last 1
hour per age group. The sessions are designed to allow us to evaluate the
ability of each player. We then use the results of the evaluations to evenly
distribute players on rosters for each team. Teams are constructed to be as
equal as possible.
Season Length
- The season consists of 6 regular season games, with 1-2 postseason games and 6
practices.
Game
Times – Game times will vary to be
fair to all Youth teams. The majority of youth games will take place on
Saturday mornings. There will be some youth games on weeknights in the early
evening.
Double-headers
may be necessary if there are an odd number of teams in a league. This ensures
all the teams have the same number of games. We will not play during holiday
weekends, or when schools are not in session.
Carpooling Requests – We will do our best to honor valid carpooling requests that
are submitted on or before Skills Day.
Rosters -
Team Rosters will be posted to
by 5pm on the Sunday following Skills Day. All players will need to be paid and
have a completed waiver on file to be able to access their team's roster. Once
you log in to
,
the team you are on will appear under your name. Click on the team name to go to
the team page will full roster and schedule. Personal information will not be
displayed to other members of the team. Each team will average 7 - 9 skaters,
plus a goalie. Players may be moved to a different team before the first
game in order to keep each roster as equal as possible.
Schedules
- The 1st week practice and game schedule will be posted to our online League
Management Program called
by 12pm on the Monday following Skills Day. Once you log in to

the team you are on will appear under your name. Click on the team name to go to
the team page will full roster and schedule. The full season schedule will be
posted to
by the first game.
Jerseys – Each team member
will get a jersey at their first game. The cost is included in the league fee.
Payment Information – The
individual fee is $145 for skaters and $99 for goalies. Their is a $20 early
registration discount that applies up until 1 week prior to Skills Day, see
current deadline dates on the youth inline hockey page.

Age Groups – The
age groups are U-16, U-12, and U-10. We reserve the right to move a player up or
down a division based on the player's skill level, as well as other
considerations.
Practices - Each team has 1 practice
per week. The days and times of these practices will vary weekly to accommodate
everyone's busy schedule. Since
some players are unable to attend practice on certain days and/or times, a
varying practice schedule helps minimize the number of practices any one player
may miss.
Coaches
- Each team requires 1 parent volunteer coach.
