Charlotte Sports Center’s youth inline hockey programs are designed to teach boys and girls one of America’s fastest growing games. Youth inline hockey programs run year-round and include Leagues, Clinics and our NEW Summer Skills & Drills Camp that are separated into various age groups.

Youth Inline Hockey Leagues
 Season:  Season includes 6 regular season games, 1-2 postseason games and 6 practices.
 Coaching:  Each team is coached by a parent volunteer with assistance from Charlotte Sports Center staff.
 League Fee:  $145 per player includes jersey (Goalies $99).  Register and pay before deadline for $20 discount.
 Registration Fee:  The Player's Card annual registration fee is $25 for Individuals or $35 for Families.

 Skills Day:  All players are evaluated at skills day and distributed evenly to ensure balanced teams.
 Game Days:  Most games are Saturdays 8am - 1pm.  Some weekday games based on number of teams.
 Practices:  Practices are Sunday - Friday.  Times and days vary based on the number of teams.
 Rosters:  Player and coach rosters are posted to by 5pm on Sunday after skills day.
 Schedules:  Initial practices and first game times posted to by 5pm on Sunday after skills day.
 Phone Calls:  We do not place calls regarding rosters, practices or games times.  Please check .
 What is MySAM?  MySAM provides schedules, rosters and emails game reminders.

Youth Inline Hockey Clinics
 Clinic Information:  6 week clinic offered for Coed Ages 4 to 10.
 Description:  The clinic is designed for beginner players looking to advance their skills in preparation for youth leagues. Clinic introduces skating, stick handling, passing, shooting, rules and more.
 Clinic Dates:  Winter 2 '10: 2/20-3/27    Spring '10: 4/10 - 5/22
 Day & Time:  Saturdays from 11:45am - 12:45pm

Youth Required Equipment
 Inline Skates:  Inline skates with Sport Court approved wheels only, no stoppers.
 Helmet:  HECC approved helmet with facemask.
 Hockey Stick:  Same type of stick as used for ice hockey.
 Pads:  Hockey gloves, elbow pads, shin pads, mouth guard and groin protector are required.
 Hockey Pants:  Pants are required and all equipment must be covered.
 Goalies:  Neck guard required for goalies.
 Optional Equipment:  Shoulder pads, hip pads, neck guard.
